We have 3 open houses in the neighborhood this weekend to check out. This week in Eckington the active listings went from 26 to 28 with 12 closings taking place in the last 30 days.

The condo market the last few years has not been great for Sellers. There was simply too much supply and too little demand. I read an article in the Washingtonian the other day and it resonated with me as the article states, "Condominiums are often the housing market’s canary in the coal mine." I believe this to be true and Alex and I are feeling this change on the ground too. According to Washingtonian," As of January, the median sale price for condos was 6 percent higher than the same time last year, according to Bright MLS."
